CAPE ELIZABETH -- Olive M. Sweetsir, 96, of Cape Elizabeth and Skowhegan, passed away peacefully with her family at her side in Skowhegan on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.
Olive was born in Bethel the daughter of Harold L. and Amelia (Oliver) Powers. She was educated in Bethel and South Portland. She was a graduate of South Portland High School class of 1932.
Olive married Clinton L. Sweetsir in Cape Elizabeth on June 17, 1934. Olive resided in Cape Elizabeth most of her life, where she enjoyed her family, the ocean, and lawn sales.

WESTBROOK -- Robert S. Boyd III, 61, of Terri Circle, died on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough following a long illness.
Bob was born in Portland on Sept. 14, 1948, the son of Robert S. and Leose Souviney and was educated in Portland schools, graduating from Portland High School. He had worked for the former Henley-Kimball Car Sales in Portland for three years. For 20 years he was self employed as a real estate manager. A hard working man, Bob bought, renovated and sold many properties in Portland.
