SOUTH PORTLAND -- Patricia Peabbles Tomlin, 87, of South Portland, passed away in Westbrook, on Nov. 13, 2009, after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on Oct. 22, 1922, in Portland, the daughter of Walter and Caro Mayo Peabbles. Patricia attended Portland schools and was a graduate of Cape Elizabeth High School Class of 1941.
She met Randolph Tomlin while he was stationed at Fort Williams. They married in 1945. As a young girl she was an accomplished dancer and performed in many shows.

He was born on March 7, 1937, in Newburg, the son of Dexter and Catherine "Polly" Clements. At age five his family moved to South Portland. His formal education concluded with graduating from Portland High School where he played football.
Richard's hobbies included weight lifting, body building, archery and poetry.

BATH -- Yvette Bernadette Picard Small, 92, of Lincoln Street, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, in Bath.
She was born in Brunswick, the daughter of Amedee and Emerilda Picard. Yvette graduated from Brunswick High School in 1934 and from Mount Merici in 1936. She was employed by a Personal Finance Company and attended tax seminars to prepare taxes for their clients. This began her tax-consulting career, which she carried on for 60 years.
She married Charles T. Small in June 1940.

SCARBOROUGH -- Georgie E. Whitehead Fenderson, 97, formerly of Belfast, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough.
Georgie was the daughter of Elmer S. and Jeannette Perkins Whitehead. She graduated from Crosby High School in 1929, and was Secretary to the Manager of Merrill Trust Co., Belfast Branch.
She was married to Harold I. Fenderson in 1931. He was then manager of the Western Union Telegraph Co., in Belfast, and later became Superintendent of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

SCARBOROUGH -- Harold H. Cochrane, of Durham and formerly of Cape Elizabeth, passed away Sunday morning, Nov. 15, 2009, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough after a valiant battle with cancer.
He graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School. He married Lorraine Laberge of South Portland in 1962. They resided in Cape Elizabeth until 1976, finally settling in Durham.

SCARBOROUGH -- James L. Rupard "Lenny," 71, of Portland, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.
Born June 20, 1938, in Union Grove, N.C., he was the son of the late James Dexter and Rachel Jordan Rupard. Before his retirement he worked in security at Mercy Hospital. Some of his favorite things were fishing, working on cars, watching westerns and trips to North Carolina.

He was born in Windham, the son of Ira C. Pollard and Minnie E. Cannell. He was born and raised in Windham and graduated from Pennell Institute in Gray. He served in the Army during World War II. He worked in Construction and retired from RJ Grondins in 2006. He enjoyed stock car racing, playing horseshoes and going to Florida for the winters.

SCARBOROUGH -- John R. "Jack" Williamson, 78, of Scarborough, died on Nov. 16, 2009, at the Maine Veterans' Home in Scarborough with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Baltimore, Md., on April 9, 1931, the son of Lloyd A. and Dorothy (Dornlas) Williamson. Jack was a 1949 graduate of Boston Technical High School and went on to earn his BBA degree from Northeastern University and his MBA degree from Boston College School of Management.

PORTLAND -- Andrea Marie Pritchard, 33, of Scarborough, died unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at Maine Medical Center.
Andrea was born in Portland in the wee hours of June 28, 1976, the first daughter of James E. and Doreen M. (Robbins) Pritchard. She attended local area schools before graduating from Scarborough High School as a member of the class of 1995.

NEW HARBOR -- Edith Jane Hyde Thompson, 84, of New Harbor, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home on the morning of Nov. 15, 2009.
She was born on Sept. 26, 1925, in Pittsfield, Mass., the daughter of Jane and Irving Hyde. She and her family lived in Stamford, Conn., as well as Glastonbury, Conn. Edith survived a serious illness as a young girl, demonstrating strength of will that served her well for the rest of her life.
As a young woman, Edith attended, and graduated from, Hartford Hospital Nursing School, where she earned her degree as an R.N.
