Raymond, 72
BRUNSWICK -- Denise D. Raymond, 72, of Brunswick, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at her residence.
She was born in Brunswick on March 3, 1937, the daughter of Denis and Laura Normand Levesque. Denise attended local schools and worked at area shoe shops, including Auerbach Shoe and Eastland Shoe. She had also worked at Fancy Stitchers for a time.
She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, a member of 55 Plus, the Evergreens Club and was an avid Bingo player. She enjoyed watching sports including golf and football.

Donna Ann
St. Pierre, 69
SCARBOROUGH -- Donna Ann St. Pierre, 69, passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at the Pine Point Manor in Scarborough.
She was born in Portland, the daughter of Philip R. and Yvette G. Provost Cote. She was raised in Portland and graduated from Portland High School. Donna worked for C.M.P., Marden's, and most recently Good Will in Windham. She loved shopping and she loved doughnuts.
Donna was a great mom who did a wonderful job of raising her three children. Her sweet personality easily made her loved by everyone who met her.

Irene E. Spearin, 98
GORHAM -- Irene E. Spearin, 98, of Ft. Hill Road, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at a Windham nursing facility after a long illness. Irene was 10 days short of her 99th birthday.
She was born Nov. 24, 1910, in Calais, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Smith Pulk. Irene was educated in the Calais school system and spent the majority of her life as a homemaker. Irene baked many loaves of bread which she would sell and knitted thousands of mittens and many quilts. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

Irene M. Allen, 89
NORTH BERWICK -- Irene M. Allen, 89, of North Berwick, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.
She was born on July 30, 1920, in Eliot, the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Tondreault) Morin. She was raised and educated in Eliot, and was a 1940 graduate of Gorham State Teacher's College. Irene was an elementary and special education teacher, as well as a "much loved" librarian.

Olive M. Sweetsir, 96
CAPE ELIZABETH -- Olive M. Sweetsir, 96, of Cape Elizabeth and Skowhegan, passed away peacefully with her family at her side in Skowhegan on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.
Olive was born in Bethel the daughter of Harold L. and Amelia (Oliver) Powers. She was educated in Bethel and South Portland. She was a graduate of South Portland High School class of 1932.
Olive married Clinton L. Sweetsir in Cape Elizabeth on June 17, 1934. Olive resided in Cape Elizabeth most of her life, where she enjoyed her family, the ocean, and lawn sales.

Robert S. Boyd III, 61
WESTBROOK -- Robert S. Boyd III, 61, of Terri Circle, died on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough following a long illness.
Bob was born in Portland on Sept. 14, 1948, the son of Robert S. and Leose Souviney and was educated in Portland schools, graduating from Portland High School. He had worked for the former Henley-Kimball Car Sales in Portland for three years. For 20 years he was self employed as a real estate manager. A hard working man, Bob bought, renovated and sold many properties in Portland.

Arnold Hollis
Truscott, 87
KENNEBUNK -- Arnold Hollis Truscott, 87, passed away Nov. 10, 2009, after a brief illness. A Christmas baby, he was born in 1921, the son of the late G. Hollis and Martha Edna Truscott. He was a life-long Kennebunk resident known by many as "Tweet." He attended Kennebunk Public Schools and graduated from Becker Junior College in 1942. Following college, he earned the designation of Naval Aviator from the Naval Air Training Center in Pensacola, Fla., in 1943.

Beverly J. Slack, 67
PORTLAND -- Beverly J. Slack, 67, of Ohio and formerly of Portland, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, in Ohio.
She was born in Portland on May 8, 1942, the daughter of Phillip and Tina (Poulin) Peters. She attended South Portland schools and graduated from South Portland High School, class of 1960.
In April 1964, she married Richard E. Slack at Holy Cross Church in South Portland. She was employed at Sun Federal Bank in Portland for several years. She then moved to Florida and most recently to Ohio.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard, who died Sept. 28, 2009.

Brigida "Betty" DiMillo
PORTLAND -- Brigida "Betty" DiMillo died on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Fall Brook
Woods.
She was born in Portland on June 14, 1928, the daughter of Maria and Vincenzo Reali. Betty attended local area schools before marrying her true love Albert on June 19, 1949, and they raised eight children together. She was a former communicant of St. Peter's Church and Holy Cross Church.
Betty was a giving person who cared for her mother, father and sister during long illnesses. She enjoyed entertaining and was a wonderful cook.

Harriet Dorothy
"Dot" Lemelin, 94
SOUTH PORTLAND -- Harriet Dorothy "Dot" Lemelin, 94, of South Portland, died peacefully Nov. 11, 2009, at Maine Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 12, 1915, in Westbrook, the daughter of George H. and Theodora Sicard How. Dot was educated in local schools and was a 1935 graduate of South Portland High School.
Dot was a daily communicant of Holy Cross Church. She married Stanislas Lemelin who predeceased her in 1986.
Dot worked as a clerical worker at Porteous Mitchell and Braun retiring after 34 years of service.
